Reasons For Why I Enjoy Hollywood Style Weddings More than Pakistani Style Weddings

Weddings have always been my favorite occasion as the magical and joyous feel that surrounds is simply surreal. The magical atmosphere, beautifully designed dresses, and extremely sincere vows have always fascinated me. However, if I had to choose between a Pakistani wedding and a Hollywood style wedding, I would without a doubt choose the latter.

Having said that, please do refrain from rolling your eyes because I would like you to listen to my explanation. I appreciate my culture as well as it’s customs, however, when it comes to weddings, I would like to replace the exhausting multi-day extravagana with something simple and more personal.

1. The Freshness Is Welcome

When it comes to weddings, every event varies across the globe. Out of many styles, my favorite one is the Pakistani wedding style. This style captures a multi-day celebration consisting of Mayun, Nikkah, Mehndi, Baraat, and Walima. Not to mention countless dholkis to build the hype prior to the events. While all of this seems over the top (which it is, but in a good way), it can be overwhelming at the same time.
